Drama classes are available on a weekday evening and also on a Saturday to children from the age of 6yrs upwards.
Our Drama Classes are scheduled as an engaging class, which explores many areas of drama in a friendly, creative, and hands on environment. This class focuses on the learning and development of specific acting skills, making drama fun and productive too. Additionally, every drama pupil is automatically offered the opportunity to be part of our in-house Casting Agency at no extra cost. Drama pupils are also encouraged to perform in our annual showcase and to attend and compete in local Drama Festivals and Competitions where an individual or the Drama group performs in front of live audiences and a festival adjudicator. Performances may be awarded 1st, 2nd or 3rd place and usually trophies and on occasions a monetary award and entries receive a written report which students can use to monitor their achievements and individual skills. Drama Pupils are taught a fun-filled selection of work including improvisation, scripts, mime and acting for TV with audition techniques also covered.
Our Drama Classes offer young people of every age and ability the opportunity to perform and are trained by experienced and CRB licensed teachers. Pupils learn new skills, build confidence and make new friends. The disciplines pupils gain from our Drama classes often become life skills and each pupil is valued and treated as an individual and carefully guided to achieve their own potential.
